Accenture Federal Services is Hiring an Automated Test Engineer Near Washington, DC

You are:

Our clients. “Testing 1-2-3” Your mic check responsibilities include applying business requirements, Testing knowledge and technical expertise in the implementation of test automation suites to validate software application functionality. You love performing hands on design, coding, enhancing, and testing of software applications in order to meet business process requirements. Critics and audiences are wowed by how you apply your Testing knowledge and technical expertise in the automation and quality engineering efforts of every delivery. And of course, an in-depth understanding of testing, including theory and concepts are music to your ears.

The work:

  • Analyze and identify suitable opportunities for test automation.
  • Develop automation components/modules using appropriate tools and programming languages.
  • Carry out test automation script/cases, identify/log issues, and provide support during issue resolution process.
  • Visualize, design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks and their implementation.
  • Support test automation solution planning and estimation.
  • Integrate test automation with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery.

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum of 7 year's experience as an automated test engineer with programming skills to write computer code and scripts in common computer languages, such as Javascript and Python.
  • Experience examining bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes. 
  • Experience writing, designing, and executing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber or Jenkins. 
  • Experience in being able to prioritize test cases to test critical features, create test scenarios & execution plans, and document automated test process for cases. 
  • Top Secret clearance requirement.
  • Must be able to work on site 60% of time, weekly. 

Bonus points if you have:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
  • Previous consulting experience and understanding customer/business needs
  • 508 compliance experience
  • Experience conducting automation tools analysis, selection, and recommendation
  • Experience supporting test automation assessments for multiple projects
  • Experience mobilizing and managing test automation projects (tools, resources, & processes)
  • Experience developing automation frameworks that are leveraged across multiple resources

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:

California: $ 111,400 - 213,600

Colorado: $ 111,400 - 184,300

New York: $ 103,200 - 213,600

Washington State: $ 118,700 - 196,400
